Rural Physician & Health Professional Recruitment

 March 26, 27 & 28, 2009
Clearwater, BC

The goals of the 2009 Rural Health Symposium revolve around Collaboration, Recruitment, and Development of Open Dialogue amongst Central Interior communities and government agencies.

The objective is to bring communities of BC’s Interior together to discuss and brainstorm health care models and potential solutions as it relates to long term quality health care in rural and remote communities.

The final outcome of the symposium is to establish how communities can join together in common recruitment practices, develop partnerships that serve as a unified voice when advocating on behalf of rural and remote communities in a productive, creative and cooperative manner when engaging in dialogue with government and Interior Health.

The program below has been established with the primary theme being collaboration and partnerships. This is a draft program provided for information purposes. The conference organizers reserve the right to make changes to the conference program as it might be necessary.
